License grant and term

Upon payment of the initial purchase price, AmCEO grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software according to your purchased plan limits (businesses, users, and devices) for an initial term of one (1) year from activation (or from the purchase date if activation occurs later under our then-current process).

Continued use after the initial term requires annual renewal at the then-stated annual renewal fee. Unless otherwise published for your plan, the annual renewal fee is one-third (1/3) of the original list purchase price for that plan tier (for example, Starter GHS 500, Business GHS 1,167, and Enterprise GHS 2,667 when the published purchase prices are GHS 1,500 / 3,500 / 8,000). Renewal may be completed at amceo.app/renew.

After the license expiry date, you receive a fourteen (14) day grace period. During the grace period and after soft-lock, you may continue to view and export existing business data. Creating new records is blocked until the license is renewed. This is not a monthly subscription; there are no automatic recurring card charges — renewal is an explicit annual payment with reminder emails before expiry.

Device limit

Each license activates on exactly one installed copy of AmCEO (one host computer). Team members who access AmCEO through your office network (LAN) in a browser do not count as additional licensed installations. To move AmCEO to a new computer, deactivate the license on the old device first (in the app: Settings → Deployment → Moving to a New Computer, or Settings → License), then activate on the new device.

Data ownership

Your business data remains under your control at all times. By default it is stored locally on your device. If you opt in to Cloud Sync, data is stored in a database provider you configure and control (bring-your-own-cloud). AmCEO and the amceo.app license service do not host your business records and do not have access to the contents of your books, employees, inventory, or similar operational data. License administration data (such as license keys, contact details used for delivery and support, and device binding identifiers) is handled separately as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell AmCEO licenses. You may not use AmCEO for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered into the application.

No warranty

AmCEO is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Business decisions made using AmCEO are your responsibility.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AmCEO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license (including applicable renewal fees paid for the then-current term).

Refund policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on the initial purchase. If you are not satisfied with AmCEO within 7 days of purchase, contact support@amceo.app for a full refund. Refunds are not available after license keys have been actively used beyond reasonable evaluation within that window. See our Refund Policy for details on initial purchases versus renewal payments.

Termination and non-renewal

We may revoke your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination for violation, you must cease using the software. If you do not renew after the grace period, the license enters soft-lock: viewing and exporting existing data remain available, but creating new records is blocked until you renew. Sections regarding liability and governing law survive termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
